Conrad Garrow is the new ROK Cup Asia champion in the Junior category after an epic performance at the final round on Singapore’s KF1 karting circuit in Kranji. Starting as the championship underdog, Conrad clinched the title with a Heat win, a 2nd in the Pre-Final, and a 1st-place finish in the Final. A drop-bumper penalty (an automatic 5-second hit) on the opening lap of the Final forced Conrad to unleash lap after lap of relentless pace to build a gap big enough to stay in the top 4 and beat championship rival Poomsit Klombunjong. He carved out enough margin to take 3rd, locking in the title!
This ROK Cup Asia victory earns Conrad a spot at the ROK Cup SuperFinals in Italy this October. Big congrats, Conrad!
Shoutout to Kareen Kaur for her stellar 2nd-place finish in the ROK Senior Category and 3rd overall in the ROK Singapore standings!
Kareen, coached recently by Mikko at her first-ever Formula 4 race in Coimbatore, India, has been putting in the work to prep for her F4 campaign.
Finally, a warm welcome to the latest Full Focus Driver Coaching student, Raja Gunn, who raced his first karting event in Singapore. The 9-year-old, started karting a few months ago in Canada, didn’t waste time after his move to Singapore – hitting the track and rapidly finding pace, already within a second of Asia’s fastest cadet drivers. Impressive start, Raja!
Kareen, Raja, and Conrad have all recently honed their driving at the recently launched Full Focus Sim Lab Simulator Center in Singapore.
